Agroforestry: a way of life
Jérôme Hochin is a farmer committed to living ecosystems. On his farm, which specialises in organic cereal, legume, and root crop production, he has established 30 hectares of agroforestry. He gladly welcomes visitors—students, officials, and fellow farmers—to showcase the harmony between agricultural production and agroforestry.
The agroforestry systems were implemented over seven years ago, largely independently by the farm itself, with the aim of creating the most resilient agricultural model possible. The trees planted come from Végétal Local-certified species, ensuring their local and wild origin, thus contributing to biodiversity conservation.
