Naima Fdil was born in Ait Majber, a tiny hamlet tucked into the Dadès Valley over 300 kilometres away from Marrakesh. Life in this isolated little village is hard, especially for women. In 2005, Naïma set up the ‘Association Féminine pour le Développement de la Famille’ (AFDF), giving women the opportunity to provide for their families and children by growing, harvesting and distilling local roses.
