Natalya Eremeeva was the winner of the 2019 Terre de Femmes Russia Award. Her association “Give Life to Our Planet” aims to reforest Russia’s forests.
Natalya has triggered a reforesting movement in Russia, where continuous replanting will be carried out across the country in all regions affected by human negligence, unauthorised deforestation and forest fires. She also plants city gardens with support from local businesses.
In 2012, she launched her project with a view to restoring Kayskaya Grove, a protected natural pine forest.
Over 26,000 people got involved in Natalya’s project.
