The Foundation's mission
Founded by Yves Rocher in 1991 and under the aegis of the Institut de France since 2001, the Foundation is committed to nurturing and protecting nature and humanity.
The Foundation’s objective?
To cultivate a greener world by assisting environmentally-conscious men and women to implement concrete preservation initiatives.
The Foundation's initiative:
 | Women of the Earth Award Since 2001, rewarded more than 165 women in 11 countries who are working to protect nature and the well-being of mankind. |
| Nature Festival 800 school children under the guidance of 50 nature interpreters celebrate nature each year in La Gacilly. |  |
 | Terra Ficaria Each year, since 2004, this prize is awarded to a scientist who focuses his or her research efforts on the plant world. |
| Historical Gardens More than 20 botanical and medicinal gardens have been created and are being maintained by this heritage conservation programme. |  |
